The house

Three places, one quiet idea of beauty.

Mor and Mogra began with a peacock and a jasmine bloom, the two motifs that have followed our founder from a Jaipur childhood, through Dubai, and into the green light of the Peak District. The house was named for both: mor, the peacock, and mogra, the jasmine flower.

Every piece is drawn in the Derbyshire studio, refined against the textures of Dubai's old gold souks, and brought to life by family artisans in Jaipur. The pieces are made to order, in small numbers, by people who know the stones by hand.

The result is fine jewellery that carries three places at once. Not ornament for a single occasion, but something to wear on a Tuesday and again at a wedding, layered or alone, and passed on later.

Family artisans, fine silver, natural stones.

Two hands layered with fine silver and gold rings set with smoky quartz, peridot and citrine, in a soft daylight studio.

Layers of intention, worn with grace.

Worn together, or worn alone.

The studio's pieces are designed to live with the rest of your wardrobe, not interrupt it. Stack a citrine against a peridot, wear an amethyst halo on its own, take an heirloom band and let it sit between two of ours. The point is to be worn, often, and on ordinary days as much as the others.

  • Fine silver, set in Jaipur, finished to your hand size.
  • Natural gemstones, sourced for colour and clarity in person.
  • Personal engraving available on most pieces, in script or block.
  • A consultation is the easiest way in, by WhatsApp or in Sheffield.
